Wild Game Cook-off

  • Midland Trail Park (map)

Come celebrate our Appalachian culture at the seventh annual Wild Game Cook-off! An annual fundraiser for White Sulphur Springs Main Street, we invite local restaurateurs, chefs, and home-trained cooks to compete with their best wild game or home-grown recipes. And even better, you get to taste it all for a great cause-- a growing White Sulphur Springs. Join us in the green space behind Midland Trail Park downtown for a fantastic afternoon!

The afternoon includes a beer garden and a marketplace featuring local vendors and artisans. Guests are invited to taste their way around the event, sampling the recipes provided by our participants. Seconds are encouraged. Admission is $15 and covers all you can eat, refreshments, and two beer tickets. Cash bar after that. Food and drink service begins at noon!

Added in 2017, the Harvest Market is a great new addition to our afternoon festivities. Working with the WSS Farmer's Market, we invite local vendors of all kinds to set up with us from 12-4 pm. Entry is for vendors is $5 and you keep all of your proceeds.

Join us for great food, good beer, and a fantastic time to help us continue to raise money for WSS Main Street. We are working hard every day to revitalize downtown White Sulphur and proceeds from the Wild Game Cook-off help us do that.

An October Saturday in the Greenbrier Valley is hard to beat. We hope you'll spend one with us.
